Yes . A ship like 3500 tonnes is only armed with torpedoes is a disgrace. They could have made a 1500-2000 tonnes corvettes for asw. It would still have quite a long range. The worst part is that this ship would have quite old torpedoes with limited range.

However its quite big. It shouldn't be that much big. This ship is very lightly armed. Hunting submarines could easily be done by smaller ships. There was no need to build big ship. Smaller ships would've been more silent.
