Do you even pay attention to Jaishankar's statements.. He goes to great lengths to say that QUAD is not and will not be a military alliance... India is into appeasing China as much as Australia..

Why blame Biden.. India has always been harping time and again, that the QUAD is not a military grouping and not directed against China.. Jaishankar regularly sings the "QUAD will never be NATO" Song..

Whether the QUAD becomes a military alliance or not is a separate question.. The AUKUS POKUS does not bring any additional Military capabilities to the table for the US.. The countries involved are already treaty allies of the US, who always have fought together..
