An RR battalion fights entirely different battles than what regular battalions do . They are a CICT force and don't have the same indoctrination as the regular battalions do . They have a High state of readiness but what they'll have to do in ladakh is totally opposite to what they have doing in...

Using a CICT formation against a conventional enemy is not a good decision in my opinion. Is the force being converted to Mountain warfare role ?

57 MD is actually spread out in three states. It's arty brigade is in Agartala. Many of its infantry formations are in Nagaland . In case of war it will take time to mobilise all of them at a uniform pace.

I suggest we move 57 mountain division from leimakhong in manipur to Dibang Valley. Let the 2nd Mountain div manage the defences in Walong-Kibitho-lohit sector. 2nd MD is overstretched I feel
