3.a of the pdf talks about Gun/barrel articles for replacing the current guns of T-72 / T-90. The "Brief" talks about upgrading the current T-72/ T--90 guns to overcome the 600 Mpa limitation. So, its about developing both Gun and ammo together.

The table has a row that says: Lethality (dop) --- 600 - 800 mm of RHA 3.a is for Gun/ barrel 3.b is for APFSDS.. But, no mention of autoloader

That would mean overhauling our bridges in ladakh again.. many of them have recently been strengthened to be able to transport T-72 / T-90.. Chinese 35 ton light tank is oversold though

Superior but not undetectable.. Here is another scenario.. There is a group of armata tanks which are targeted using a large number of airburst fragmentation artillery shells or sub munitions, damaging the sensors or radar.. Then these Armata tanks turrets are targetted by tank fired APFSDS...

What about the scenario where you might have to fight with the radar turned off.. to keep its radar signature low.. I still hope they bulk up turret armour in the armata..

Whats the penetration of Pak Army APFSDS for Al khalid, T-80 tanks. They also have old Al zaraar and obsolete Type 59 tanks.. which number more than 1000..

Hope Indian APFSDS rounds can atleast ensure a mission kill... on Pakistani tanks

@Bleh Considerig penetration of APFSDS for T-72 / T-90 Mango round - 450 mm RHA ? DRDO 125 mm Mark2 : 500 mm RHA So, are we covered w.r.t all Pakistani tanks except VT4 ?

But what about the thousands of T-72 and T-90s.. we need to upgrade them as well..

Its weight was 47 ton.. so could have been deployed in the mountains.. Also, the weight being the same as T-72 .. would help it cross bridges in the punjab without worries about being overweight..

Any imminent plans to upgrade T-72 and T-90 turrets and guns to fire Lekalo and Snivets rounds..?

How do you defeat APS.. Afghanit is supposed to defeat even apfsds... So, what happens if 3 t-90 tanks, simultaneously fire apfsds rounds on the same section of Armata tank.. Can Afghanit handle it ? @Bhadra
