#Japanese #mineseeper #NOTOJIMA 682 damaged in collision with a cargo ship late Wed in #Japan's Inland Sea while en route to Kure naval base. No injuries reported but the minesweeper was damaged on her starboard quarter when the merchant's port bow struck.

The Ministry of Defense of #Norway believes that the restoration of damaged frigate Helge Ingstad will cost up to $1.6 billion & will take 5 years. The cost of repairs is more than 3 times the price of a new ship, so it will be replaced rather soon, said the Minister of Defense.
