    @roma, F-22 cannot be called a failure. It has not been inducted in large numbers, not because it is a failure, but because it is exorbitantly expensive. Still, a little less than 200 is not a bad number. F-35 on the other hand is more of a money sink and less of a success.

    Why? The Skjold-class corvette is a surface effect craft, much like the Soviet Ekranoplan. This is something India needs to explore, and they should be made in India, and India can make them in India.

    ^^ BRDMs (above) and BTR are not known for good armour. Moreover, they have an inherent weakness in cross country performance. That is why, with BTR-T, they moved onto tracked locomotion. I prefer the BMP-2 platform for Nag (NAMICA) better.
