UK rules out quick fix trade deal with India.

Modi Govt shouldn't waste time on any trade deal with west. Wait till 2024 election over. West is hoping for regime change in India.

Ps- Focus on Latin america, mexico, African countries.

It might job for reverse psychology to transnish modi

The ‘wagh nakh’ is coming home. With the UK authorities agreeing to give back the dagger shaped like tiger claws—used by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to kill Afzal Khan, general of the Bijapur sultanate, in 1659—state cultural affairs minister Sudhir Mungantiwar will visit London later this month to sign an MoU with the Victoria and Albert Museum, where it’s on display.

If everything works out as planned, the famed wagh nakh may be headed home this year itself. “We have got a letter from the UK authorities saying they have agreed to give us back Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s wagh nakh. We might get it back for the anniversary of the day when Shivaji killed Afzal Khan, based on the Hindu calendar. Some other dates are also being considered and the modalities of transporting the wagh nakh back are also being worked out,” Mungantiwar said.

“Apart from signing the MoU, we will also look at other objects such as Shivaji’s Jagadamba sword which is also on display in the UK, and take steps to bring these back as well. The fact that the tiger claws are on the way back is a big step for Maharashtra and its people. The date of Afzal Khan’s killing is November 10 based on the Gregorian calendar but we are working out dates based on the Hindu tithi calendar,”
Mungantiwar said.

Sunak refuses India’s plea for visas in trade deal talks

In my opinion, this is just a clever fudge by the Indian & UK negotiators to divert attention elsewhere while the real prize of business visas gets done. Also helps in showing Sunak as a tough negotiator but concessions elsewhere won't be front page. Helps India in stopping demands on pharma intellectual protection push. Both sides would have known that these issues were non-negotiable but kept spoon feeding the media stories that help the respective governments keep attention elsewhere.

Yeah, somebody said that the other day - "you wont get this deal in 5 years and India is quite prepared to not do a deal...."

My own sense is that deal may be quite close to finalisation. There's talk of Sunak making another visit in October to sign the deal.

Can the Unknowns address this fucker? He is a lowly goon but it would send the right message.
Wouldn't be a bad idea, though India may be watched more now, with that whole Canada incident. What must and can be done, is to shame those Indian/ Indian origin hypocrites, cowards and slimeballs, who very quick to blame " Hindutva" for the violence in Leicester. Even when Hindus suffered more, did not physically hurt anyone or damage property. And Moslems were overwhelmingly arrested for the riots.

Let's give this guy a W. He's been serving our interests well. The 5 Eyes fiasco with JT the Joker is going perfectly as planned.

UK doesn't make anything that we can't make, except we might get cheaper scotch and whiskey.

I say cheers to that!

A sparkle of hope for us heathens to beat the Gora Sahib.

Sparkle of hope? More like gearing up to beat the poop out of them!

The only thing we are not good at against them are the things that we don't know about.

Whatever we get to know, we make it better than them. They had 80 years of research and dedicated research in developing gas turbine engines, while we despite our political slugfest, lack of funds or attention came up with a functioning jet engine and a small gas turbine engine by Kirloskar.

Imagine if the PMO under NaMo/Yogi directly were to get involved in AMCA, Kaveri and semiconductors with full authority and push. We would fill our only gap in strategic industries in the next decade itself.

Show me one good thing they are good at that we excel in - even their basic life fundamental called food is worse than our tears. Indian cuisine was a gift of the gods for them. It civilized their pallet.

Whiskey demands a certain type of grain crop quality - once our farmers learn it, our climate is better suited than the British to make superior whiskeys with sufficient perseverence and focus.

This terrorist Hijab is not half as dangerous as those brown sahib snakes sitting and spewing hate against the motherland. The first snakes that need to be smacked are these blood traitors sitting in their masters's countries as well as inside ours.

If the Unknowns were to go after the sahibs, the rest will shit bricks. Hijab will wear a hijab all day just out of fear. India should not make the historical mistake of overlooking the parasites within.

Agree with you sir, but at the same time a little moderation in our critique a little acknowledgement of their technical prowess won't be too much, otherwise we will be in the league of pakjabis and bilols.... Covishield was nothing but Oxford vaccine...I respect your point of view and end goals however mine is a bit tempered but the conviction and desire for Bharats advance the same as you.

Time and again, the UK continues to prick us with little needles. The UK deep state seems to want the purported trade deal to fail. Every time Sunak comes closer to a deal, they launch a provocation.

I wonder what their game is. Could it be the pressure from across the Atlantic?

The only way to address these provocations is for the Indian ambassador to Ireland to visit Northern Ireland, or even better; hold a summit addressing "remains of colonialism" with the central theme of Las Malvinas.

There is no "UK Deep State", there is a US deep state telling their British poodles what to do.
Look at their history, they follow the US like a dog into whatever mess they get into.

Whether it's bombing Yemen recently
Whether it's going into that meme war to remove Saddam.

Contrast this with the chad Frenchman, even though he too is a US slave in the end, he pretends to be neutral-neutral atleast.

Also you can proceed with the trade deal inspite of this drama, MEA has given their statement already.
