Nice images they have on the website
nope all traditional CCTs are JTAC qualified but all JTACs are not CCT .
JTACs can call in strikes but CCTs are able to manage air assets like a mini ATC .

JTACs can be of army/navy but CCT is always air force. So in AFSOD the one to do this job will always be a garud CCT
But it might be different in the case of Garud CCT (we don't really know their exact capabilities).

Does anybody have any images of 9 Para sf or 4 Para sf headquarters in udhampur. Like any official insignias or if they have any wall memorials. For eg I was looking at this nice mountain memorial of SSG logo at their headquarters in cherat. Do we have something like this? Damn it why are the images not showing -_-

Thank you. So this means that those skull logos and scorpion logos are all fan hyped and not at all officially affiliated with SOF
Nine have the skull with a knife and a beret logo just on the glass outside the CO's office, so dose 12 and 23... These Wings and Digit things are just gift and creativity of officers and JCOs in free but not so free time:D

No the skull logo with the dagger in mouth with the beret folded on the opposite side was created by some 9SF guy, Capt Albert Explained it.

Man i can't wait to see two long ass antennas protruding from a solders kit and immediately identifying a CCT .
(how to spot a cct ?? Look for two long sticks sticking out of him)

Unless you are really remote and operating in a GPS denied environment, and with the advent of radios like the MPU5s, wideband tape whip VHF antennas are or will soon be a thing of the past for most modern military. And IA will introduce them as a modern day upgrade!

I'd like to assume that in a war time scenario, the CCT qualified Garuds would serve as JTAC or liason as TACP.
