The latest report has it that the Nigerian senate/parliament has rejected the proposal by their president to intervene militarily in Niger.


The people in Nigeria are already against it and have already started small-scale protests according to some Nigerian posters online. Nigeria may be a flawed democracy, but they don't have a deep state like the US to bypass the senate to start a war just for some peanuts thrown at them by France and the US.

Speaking of US and France, they are no longer even hiding their naked aggression. Check this report in a French newspapers called Le Monde:

It will be a disaster for NATO in every sense of the word. It is simply not ready for itwhen European economies are teetering and the US is seeing worldwide dissent.

The Afghanistan pull-out is too recent in their memory for them to directly get involved. They will drop arms caches but there won't be many fighters willing to fight in this war. It would be some ragtag group mostly, who would end up getting massacred by the Niger military and its allies. Nigeria, the biggest military force in West Africa just saw its senate banning their military involvement under the ECOWAS banner. The rest are all tiny countries with negligible military capability even against a poor nation like Niger.

Niger is backed by three other countries: Burkina Faso, Mali and Algeria, the third being the 2nd largest military force in Africa. Also, Wagner Group (WG) has already started sending their "advisors" to Niamey. Prigozhin already met with the new president of Niger officially yesterday. And let's not forget, while China was pressured into not helping Russia in Europe, there is no compulsion for them to not flood Niger & its allies with weapons against the West if France and the USA invade. They may not be high quality but they can still take out enemy soldiers.

Vladimir Putin is COUNTING and praying for this African invasion to start so that Zelensky is caught naked and the Russian forces just steamroll across the Dnieper River.

The Home Office rejected his claim a year later on the basis of his non-existent connections to India and Lebanon. The refusal letter also included the immigration history of someone else.

The man “will have retained knowledge of the life, language and culture of Lebanon and would not face significant obstacles to re-integrate back into life in there,” the letter stated.

The letter also suggested he could live in India, saying there are no factors “which would severely limit your ability to enjoy your life in India and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary, it is not accepted that you would be unable to re-establish and maintain your life there.”

Niger and Nigeria are two separate countries with two different governments. Nigeria is the one on the US-French side while Niger is the one trying to get rid of the latter.
