As per ship management company Synergy, the crew of 22 on 'Dali', the cargo ship that collided against the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, is "all Indian," tweets Yoshita Singh, PTI's New York correspondent.

-news channels are showing cropped videos, the tweet below shows engine failed twice before impact.
-maryland governor is saying, vessel had put out mayday signal before impact, they were able to stop some traffic from entering on to the bridge. which means lives were saved because of that mayday call.
-and there would have been a harbour pilot on that ship, since it coming out from a port.
-crew was all Indian

Yes but the ship was guided by a local pilot. It was the fault of the pilot that the ship crashed into the bridge.

That harbor region looks pretty tricky for ships to run on its own. Tug boats may have saved them.
