The aircraft grade aluminum alone will cost around 4-6k now add the machining , labor, anodizing cost etc ,there's no way they will achieve it in 15k (not even the handguards and the rail is possible in 15k).
And polymer mods are pretty useless .

There goes another 26 crores down the drain .

It costs us around 15k for a milled AK receiver cover with rail, raw material+machine running costs+anodising+marking+labour+misc. If we scale production to, let's say, >100units the per unit cost may be brought down 12k. Don't know what they are offering.

Our firm was one of the 3 to qualify for the tender, but sadly we were disqualified because of ownership of production machines (we outsource mfg because we are a very small company, we do have capacity to batch produce limited numbers).

God knows how many Accuracy Internationals we lost due to such clueless people.

If possible go abroad to sell your mods , like asean or US Civilian market .......... Indian defense procurement is a shitshow .

I know, we know. But that will take time, a lot at that.

We are just some people generating money from other services and investing some money and our time and efforts to provide truly indigenous solutions. We have only taken the first steps as of now, there is a long road ahead.
